I am Dr. Lethukwenama Letsoalo, a medical doctor, Chevening Scholar, and Master of Public Health candidate at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. My work bridges the worlds of medicine, public health, and digital communication, with a focus on sexual and reproductive health , non-cummunicable diseases, and health promotion.

Born and raised in Bergville, KwaZulu-Natal, I have seen firsthand how health inequalities shape the lives of underserved communities. This lived experience fuels my commitment to ensuring that young people and underserved populations have access to accurate, relatable, and actionable health information.

I obtained my medical degree from Stellenbosch University, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health from the University of Pretoria and now currently pursuing my Masters at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

In early 2022, I began creating health content in isiZulu to make medical knowledge more accessible. Since then, my work has reached over 20 million viewers and 250,000+ followers across social media platforms, positioning me as a trusted voice in digital health communication.

Beyond this, I have worked with organisations such as the DG Murray Trust, Keready, Ogilvy, and Bergville Community Builders, focusing on health strategy, programme design, and monitoring and evaluation.

Today, I combine my background in medicine with expertise in digital health, public speaking, and consultancy to advance health equity and inspire the next generation of changemakers.
